EGG CHALLENGE 1: REVERSE DROP
The purpose of this challenge was to practice paper folding techniques with origami challenges. Our group, Elizaveta, Young, and I, were to follow online instructions to create several different origami designs.
The most difficult part of this project was to drop the object carefully onto the structure during the testing. It was nerve-wracking. The favorite design were structure using the cylinder. Yes, the test trials indicated if our project would fail or succeed when adding the test egg in the final drop. By seeing how the structure was damaged after the fall, we would be able to conclude whether or not the egg would have survived or not. Our egg did survive dropping the container onto it. When the container hit the structure, it jumped. But the egg survived. I would improve the design for next time by making the base stronger so it stays sturdy on the ground and not jump.
